Diana Beltran was born in Bogota in 1978. She acquires the title of Master of Fine Arts at the National University of Colombia. Beltran’s work has been steady and wide, identified mainly in photography. She has had solo and group exhibitions in Colombia, Spain, USA, Germany, Peru, Venezuela and Singapore. Her work belongs to different collections of Chile, Colombia, USA, Panama, Spain, Peru and London.

Her first exhibition was in the Art Museum of the National University in a collective curated by Gustavo Zalamea, exhibiting her work with the leading figures of Colombian art as Beatriz Gonzalez and Bernardo Salcedo. After graduating with honors, she travels to Spain, where she makes a master’s degree in fine art photography in EFTI School in Madrid, participating with her degree’s work in Photoespaña 2008. In the same year she wins the first prize of photography Novel Dove. In 2010 she returns to Colombia with an exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce entitled Photo Dimensions. In 2013 she participates in the exhibition Emerging Generation curated by Eduardo Serrano. Since then, Beltran exhibits regularly, focusing her work in a wide concept of photography and the existentialism of being. Currently she lives and works in Bogotá.
